...The History continued In 1998, as the business expanded, Jane took a more active part in the business by taking on an administration role, which freed Roger up to utilise his expertise more shrewdly. At this point, County Joinery became County Joinery (Udimore) Ltd creating a more professional image and establishing a secure outlook for all concerned. Expansion to six members of staff and the commitment to introduce new technologies meant that in 1999, larger and more modern premises were sought to accommodate both staff and machinery while improving accessibility for delivery vehicles. A suitable location was found at Vinehall Business Park, near Robertsbridge and the business, renamed County Joinery (South East) Ltd and its staff of eleven moved there in early 2000.
